Title: Digital Engineer

Responsibilities

Maintain and operate all studio equipment, including servers, desktops, video switchers, mixers and all equipment associated with broadcasting and recording all shows. Lead set design, lighting and camera operations. Responsible for all show recordings (audio and video) being captured properly and smoothly. Producer responsibilities as required (getting talent on set, defining and communicating the run of show). Ensure that all content is published, including podcast feeds, videos, and web content, including audio and video editing.

Experience

Candidates should be familiar with both live production and recording hardware and software (Allen and Heath, Blackmagic Design, Photoshop, and UStream or similar).

Classification:

Part-time (shows are recorded on Thursday nights from 6PM-11PM, post-production is typically done on Friday, and other shows are recorded during the week including Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons).

Benefits & Compensation: This position pays a part-time salary, 401k and profit sharing.

Title: Production Assistant

Responsibilities

Operate all cameras and video switching for all shows. Setup and maintain show sets, setup camera angles and shots, lighting and audio setup for all shows.

Experience

Candidates should be familiar with cameras (Cannon XA10 or similar), lighting and set design. Knowledge of audio engineering and acoustics is a plus.

Internship Program:

Security Weekly has an informal internship training program. In exchange for helping around here at Security Weekly select individuals work with Security Weekly members to learn hacking and computer security. Individuals must be in the Rhode Island area and be willing to come into the studio/office for the internship program.
